Our motto, “we’re here to stay”, naturally applies to Albania as well. Since 2007, VIG has been active in Albania, currently represented by three companies. INTERSIG integrated into VIG in 2011 and has stablished itself as one of the leading insurers in Albania. INTERSIG has earned the trust of customers, business partners and institutions through consistent performance, financial strength and a strong commitment to service.
Over the years, the company has played an important role in the development of the Albanian insurance market by continuously expanding its product offering, investing in digital capabilities and setting high standards in claims handling and customer care.

We have now been operating in Albania for almost two decades and have further strengthened our position with the newly established life insurance company Vienna Life. This also demonstrates our clear commitment to the Albanian market which we continue to regard as a long-term growth market for VIG.
